Clear bags no larger than 18″x18″x6″ are allowed for faster entry. Non-transparent backpacks, shoulder bags, and small handbags are permitted but will be subject to security checks and longer wait times.

Will there be food and beverages available? Is alcohol served?

Yes! Seattle’s top eateries provide food and alcohol inside the festival. No outside food is allowed.

Do vendors accept cash or card? Are there ATMs?

Vendors inside the Armory accept cash. Outside vendors are card only. ATMs are available on site.

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes, bring a valid Driver’s License or Passport for age verification if you plan to purchase alcohol.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Bumbershoot is a rain or shine event. You will be notified if the festival is canceled due to extreme weather.

What are the rules for drinking alcohol?

You must be 21 or older with an ID and wear a wristband to buy alcohol. Drinks must remain inside the designated Beer Garden areas.
