THE EDGEWATER HOTEL AND SIX SEVEN RESTAURANT RECEIVE HONORS FROM AAA, CITYSEARCH, AND ZAGAT
Seattle (January 21, 2010) —The Edgewater Hotel and its swank restaurant, Six Seven, have raised the bar with recent recognition for superior service and exceptional cuisine from several organizations, including CitySearch and Zagat. In addition, for the fourth consecutive year, The Edgewater has been awarded the prestigious Four Diamond Award from the American Automobile Association (AAA) for 2010.
The Edgewater is part of a select group of AAA Four Diamond Award winners throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Four Diamond hotels represent just 3 percent of the more than 58,000 AAA diamond rated lodgings.
Six Seven received a bevy of awards in CitySearch Seattle’s Best of Seattle 2009 reader’s poll. The restaurant was named first place in six categories, including: “Best Fine Dining,” “Best Business Dining,” “Best Outdoor Dining,” “Best Romantic Dining,” “Best Wine List,” and “Best Clam Chowder.” Six Seven was also named among the top three in nine other categories, including “Best Waterfront Dining” and “Best Overall Restaurant.”
Zagat, the popular restaurant guide based out of New York, also recently recognized Six Seven with high marks for stunning views, excellent Pacific Northwest fare, and friendly service. Zagat’s ratings, which are based on a system of points from zero to 30, included: 24 points for food, 26 points for décor, and 24 points for service. These points put the restaurant in the excellent and extraordinary categories according to Zagat’s rankings. The review, included below, appears in Zagat’s 2010 Restaurant Guide.
