Featured Libations

Six Seven Restaurant and Lounge is proud to partner with the finest wineries. Every month Six Seven will showcase extraordinary wines from around the Pacific Northwest. For May, we present WillaKenzie Estate to enjoy by the glass or by the bottle.

2016 Pinot Gris – $12 glass/$48 bottle
This classic Willamette Valley Pinot Gris is a true expression of both its vintage and the environment in which it was grown. This wine is intensely flavorful with an ethereal, well balanced palate profile. Effusive and aromatic right out of the glass, this Pinot Gris showcases aromas of honeydew melon, passion fruit and citrus blossom. Those flavors carry through to the palate, which offers a creamy textural profile backed by refreshing, mineral-drenched acidity and fruit character on the finish.

2017 Rosé – $14 glass/$56 bottle
2017 marks the inaugural vintage of WillaKenzie Estate’s Rosé, a natural addition for a winery with an established reputation for aromatic white wines. This classy Rosé is both refreshing and serious in style. Laden with aromas of citrus blossom, fresh white peach and watermelon, this wine leaps out of the glass. The aromas and flavors carry through to a texturally complete palate that balances refreshing acidity with creamy viscosity.

2015 Gisele Pinot Noir – $16 glass/$64 bottle
This Pinot Noir displays tremendous fruit intensity, reflective of the long, warm, dry 2015 growing season in the Willamette Valley. While there was plenty of heat accumulation during the summer, cool nights aided in the retention of the natural acidity and freshness the region is known for. WillaKenzie Estate’s Gisèle Pinot Noir offers ample freshness, juicy red fruit and spice on the nose, carrying through to an approachable palate with wonderful fruit concentration and length.

About WillaKenzie Estate:
WillaKenzie is named after the sedimentary soil on which our estate is planted – a tribute to Oregon’s two major rivers, the Willamette and the McKenzie, which meet in nearby Eugene. Founded in 1992 and located in Yamhill-Carlton, our picturesque, 420-acre estate is deeply rooted in the heart of Oregon’s wine country. As the first LIVE certified winery in the Northwest, stewardship of the land and preservation of the diversity of our local ecosystem are at the forefront of our vineyard management and winemaking. WillaKenzie Estate features the most clonal diversity in the Willamette Valley, with over 11 different clones of Pinot planted – enabling blend complexity and texture. Our Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays and Pinot Gris showcase the elegance of the Willamette Valley AVA we call home.

Willamette Valley
Located in northwestern Oregon, the Willamette Valley is one of the world’s leading winegrowing regions with a specific focus on cool-climate viticulture. Long, dry summers at moderate temperature; well drained, porous soils; and exposed hillsides make the Willamette Valley ideal for growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, the region’s most prominent varietals.
